文莱国家工商会会长萨曼：赞赏峰会20年来为中国与东盟经贸合作牵线搭桥

　　开篇语

　　今年是“一带一路”倡议提出10周年，也是中国—东盟商务与投资峰会创办20周年。

　　经过20年发展，峰会已成为中国与东盟之间级别最高、规模最大、影响最广的国际经贸盛会，形成了政商、商商交流对话的合作机制，在推动中国与东盟国家间高层对话、加强经贸合作和代言工商等方面发挥了重要作用，赢得了中国和东盟各界的广泛认可和高度评价。

　　在第20届峰会即将隆重召开之际，东盟各国国家工商会会长纷纷发来视频寄语，充分肯定峰会在深化中国—东盟经贸合作中发挥的重要作用，表达了对第20届峰会的热切期待和对峰会未来发展的美好祝愿。现将寄语视频陆续发布，传递工商合作的友好情谊，纪念峰会20周年这个历史性时刻。

　　面对未来，信心满怀。“镶钻成冠”的峰会将持续打造高能级开放平台，有力推动“一带一路”高质量发展和打造经济增长中心，为构建更为紧密的中国—东盟命运共同体作出新的更大贡献。

My Fellow Collegues,

　　2022年，第19届峰会重点关注RCEP新机遇、产业链供应链融合、陆海新通道建设、数字经济、绿色能源、可持续发展、商事法律服务、知识产权保护等议题。来自中国和东盟的国家领导人、商界领袖和法律专家通过线上线下形式展开了深入探讨，在推动高层对话、观点交流、经贸合作等方面带来了丰硕成果。
Last year 2022, the 19th CABIS focused on RCEP new opportunities, industry and supply chain integration, New Land-Sea Trade Corridor construction, digital economy, green energy, sustainable development, commercial legal services, and intellectual property protection. State leaders, business representatives, and legal professionals from China and ASEAN conducted in-depth discussions online and on-site, yielding many outcomes in high-level dialogues, exchange of thoughts, and economic and trade cooperation.

　　我们赞赏峰会20年来推动中国与东盟经贸对话对东盟经贸产生的积极影响，使双方关系朝着相互信任、相互尊重、互利共赢的方向发展。
We appreciate the summit promoting the dialogue within these 20 years between ASEAN and China in business towards positive impact on the business and trade in ASEAN evolving close relationship towards close familiarity with mutual trust and respect for mutual benefits respectively.

　　新冠疫情后，通过数字人工智能平台实现了更有效和高效的商业和贸易生产力。
Post Covid impact deems to prosper for more effective and efficient business and trade productivity through digital Artificial Intelligence platform.

　　RCEP通过降低市场准入壁垒、稳定区域供应链，促进经济增长，增加就业，减少贫困，为中小企业进入国外市场带来了巨大的经济利益。
RCEP reaps forth tons of economic benefits access to foreign markets for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by lowering barriers to entry to strengthen the regional supply chain to boost economic growth, increase employment and reduce poverty.

　　东盟与亚太地区其他国家之间的区域内贸易也变得越来越重要，将进一步推动东盟出口增长。
The importance of intra-regional trade between ASEAN and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region has also become increasingly important as a driver of ASEAN export.

　　值得注意的是，过去30年，中国—东盟双边经济关系发展非常迅速。从东盟来看，中国已连续12年成为东盟第一大出口市场。
Notably, China-ASEAN bilateral economic ties have grown at a very rapid rate over the past three decades. From the ASEAN perspective, China has already been the largest market for ASEAN exports for the past 12 years.

　　后疫情时代，我们相信中国和东盟双边投资将稳步增长，未来将继续保持繁荣与相互尊重。
With the post-Covid era, the bilateral investment ties between China and ASEAN, we expect steady growth among the member countries and continue prosperity and respect in the near future.

　　最后，期待进一步加强中国与东盟各领域密切合作，期待第20届峰会安全成功举办。
To that, I end my speech and looking forward to strengthen close relationship for China ASEAN economic cooperation in various fields and achieved a safe Business and Investment Summit successfully.
